Projectube

This website serves as a bridge between students and organizations offering extracurricular activities. It aims to simplify the process of discovering and joining clubs, sports teams, or other student groups, enhancing campus engagement and student participation. The platform has successfully attracted over 70+ organizations and 800+ users, demonstrating its effectiveness in facilitating connections within the university community.

Technical details:

• Frontend built with Next.js and Material-UI (MUI) for a responsive, modern interface
• Backend powered by Nestjs, Expressjs, Nodejs, GraphQL with microservice architecture for efficient data querying and manipulation
• Utilizes Postgres/Redis for robust database management
• Deployed on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for scalability and reliability
• Incorporates a custom GCP mail service for sending personalized email templates
• Containerized with Docker for consistent deployment and scaling
